Escape room visit plans

It occurred to me that you might be interested in what escape room visits I’ve got in the plan. Well, currently I’ve got three booked, and am starting to look at a few more. I’m slowly working my way southwards through London (sorry to Mystery Cube – it might take a few more months to get to you – but from what I’ve heard, it will be worth the wait!). Beyond that I’m considering a spot of escape room tourism, during a weekend away, so expect some (gasp!) non-London reviews.

  • July: Time Run
  • August:
  • September:
  • October – December
    • The Crystal Maze (assuming we’re not too far down the waiting list!)
    • Escape room tourism during a weekend in Madrid – at least two rooms (I’m open to suggestions!)
    • Probably Revenge of the Sheep as soon as it opens (ClueQuest were my first escape room, their second room was my favourite escape room and they’ve moved venues again, so I feel I need to update my reviews!)
    • I’d like to visit Lock’d if time permits, although realistically I’ll probably take advantage of some of the discount offers on any new rooms that open between now and then.
    • A Door in a Wall. So disappointed that I only found out about them this year. I will do everything possible to make it to their Autumn event given the amazingness that was their Spring outing.
  • 2016
    • Far too far away to think about – by the end of 2015 I’m pretty confident that several room will have opened that haven’t yet been mentioned anywhere on the Exit Games blog, which, as far as I’m concerned is the definitive guide to escape games in the UK. I’m sure more will follow during 2016, plus existing venues will likely add to their collection.
    • Having said that, I’d like to review all the currently open escape rooms so that I no longer feel like I’m playing catchup!
    • ooh, and probably play “The Black Maze”, assuming it goes ahead.
    • Plus both A Door in a Wall games.
