A game designed for people who love science and logic. I love both, and I did have some fun, but I also found a lot of frustration in the room. An evil level of difficulty and some rough edges mean you should think carefully before signing up.
A fun game that caters well to the first-time player. The puzzles are accessible, with little to get you frustrated although enthusiasts may find them lacking originality. Their focus on immersion generally paid off reasonably well.
A game that was close to greatness. A great concept, visually beautiful, with a fantastic start and solid central gameplay but, just as I was getting really excited, it let me down. All the certainty that the early puzzles had provided was undone by a finish that felt more like a lottery than a puzzle challenge.
Probably the best of the three games at Exciting Escapes. Solid puzzles with a strong physical element, a real sense of progress during the game and a thrilling finale added up to a highly enjoyable experience.
Dance along to the 80s in this escape room packed with musical nostalgia. Good puzzles and an engaging theme add up to a lot of fun. Don’t rush this game – relax and you’ll soon get into the groove.
A gentle room which would be perfect for beginners and still plenty of fun for enthusiasts. Solid, logical puzzles and a little bit of story but the real strong point was the immersion – with a house that felt genuine and background music that washed over you throughout the game.
An well rounded experience from the moment you enter the shop to the moment you walk out the door. A tough start for novices but good plenty of good puzzles. Let down a bit by a couple of awkward moments in the game.
