A day out at the Panic Room (Gravesend): Wizard of Oz, Pocahontas, Prison Van, Ten Fathoms Deep, Revolución Olé
A round-up of five games I played at the Panic Room with highlights being Wizard of Oz and Revolucion Ole.

A pretty room with solid puzzles but that never really caught my imagination with its humour.
An audacious experience with a huge space, impressive centrepieces and a guided format. This felt more an adventure than an escape room but still a great experience and one that I’d thoroughly recommend.
A well-made but fairly traditional escape room with an all-round solid experience.
A puzzle-packed escape room that makes no pretence to be about escaping and instead is all about trying to solve as many puzzles as possible in the hour. Prepare for frustration and fun in equal measure!
A fairytale locked in an escape room. A charming room where you should forget about the time and just soak up the atmosphere.
A hotel where checking in is harder but checking out is harder. The puzzles weren’t amazingly exciting but the immersion was top notch and came at you on several levels.
A room that managed to blend concepts together. Horror and humour. The beautiful and the macabre. Some interesting puzzles and decent set design added up to a game that I found surprisingly enjoyable.
