Merry Christmas everyone! I thought I’d do something a bit different and post a (non-escape-room!) puzzle to keep you busy on Christmas afternoon so…

Here’s a cryptic crossword for your enjoyment. Warning, if you’ve not done cryptic crosswords before then I very much doubt you’ll be able to do it. Equally, if you don’t have a reasonable knowledge of UK games then you’ll also struggle! In fact, if anyone manages to solve it without hints then I’ll be very impressed! (and if you do – drop me an email so that I can congratulate you!).

But give it a go and, if it all seems too difficult, don’t worry – [edit] I’ve now posted a non-cryptic version of the same crossword so you should be able to finish it even if you get bogged down!

All the answers are escape room games, venues or words related to escape rooms. If you do get stuck, feel free to ask for help via email or Facebook.
