A fast-paced room that mixed good puzzles with pretty decoration and humorous moments. Definitely a feelgood game.

A review of the fourth room from Mystery Games. Thematically low lighting, red herrings and a lack of signposting but still a good game!

A review of two of the newer games at Mystique Escape Rooms. Towers of Woolongong was pretty dull but Pirate Bay was an excellent adventure that I’d thoroughly recommend to enthusiasts.

A room which was full of contrasts – stunning attention to detail in some parts with what felt like careless design in others. Still worth playing but be prepared to go through moments of frustration and confusion in what was, overall, an enjoyable game.

A review of three fun games. Each was great in its own way – the racing game with an impressive centrepiece, the mine with wonderful decoration and the Boat Trip with a real feel of going on a voyage. Worth playing if you’re in the area.

A fun room buried deep in Utrecht which will, perhaps unfairly, forever be associated with the smell of stuffed animals. Reasonable puzzles and theme but nothing that really excited me.

A beautiful game with puzzles that were so disappointing, they ended up spoiling the whole experience for us.

A venue and pair of games that looked utterly stunning but were sadly letdown by poor signposting in the puzzles that meant the game lacked flow.

A venue that I wouldn’t recommend visiting in spite of some unusual games. One was truly terrible, one very poor and the third, an otherwise intriguing game that was ruined by a pointless automated clue system.

A review of two games in Den Bosch in the Netherlands. One room was badly affected by darkness while the other was OK but with an incredibly frustrating final puzzle.
